The Goa authorities has suspended the permission it had granted to a non-public laboratory to gather samples for Covid-19 testing after a string of faulty outcomes emanated from the lab’s testing centre.
The laboratory, which used to gather swab samples and ship to its headquarters in Mumbai for testing, was granted permission to gather samples after the Mumbai lab was granted a licence by the ICMR for conducting Covid-19 assessments.
“Three samples of business labourers, which the laboratory reported as constructive, have examined damaging within the assessments performed on the Authorities lab, regardless of being examined twice. So we’ve briefly suspended their permission to gather swab samples,” Mohanan stated.
The laboratory, SRL Diagnostics, was the only personal laboratory in Goa that was permitted to conduct assessments.
