Raipur: A driver and a migrant labourer died on Thursday in Chhattisgarh’s Bemetra district throughout a head-on collision between a bus and a trailer-truck.
The incident came about close to Temri village below Nandghat police station on Raipur-Bilaspur freeway.
“A driver and a migrant labourer died on spot. Eight different passengers, who have been travelling on the bus, have suffered accidents and admitted to a hospital in Bilaspur. The deceased are but to be recognized,” mentioned DM Awasthi, director-general of police (DGP), Chhattisgarh.
The passengers have been all stranded migrant labourers, who have been returning dwelling from Maharashtra amid the easing of lockdown restrictions.
