With this, CM Rupani has asked the people to do a voluntary lockdown. The association, on the other hand, has decided to close the leaf streets in Rajkot on Saturday and Sunday to curb the transition.
The state has seen a steady increase in cases of corona virus. Due to the rising number of cases, the government has extended the curfew in 20 districts of the state. However, the death toll has risen in Rajkot with the Koro case. Taking note of the growing condition of Corona, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani arrived in Rajkot today and had a meeting with the Collector, Mutual Commissioner regarding Corona and got information about all the conditions.
Regarding the effective measures taken by the state government with immediate effect in Morbi district, CM Rupani said that a new laboratory for corona testing would be operational at Morbi Civil Hospital from tomorrow.
Morbi has an estimated 900 beds, including government 280. Still with the cooperation of private hospitals, trusts, societies, a new 500-bed facility will be set up with the co-ordination of the public and the government to facilitate treatment at the village level for the patients with mild-to-moderate effects in Corona.
